Amy Edgy Ferber's practice focuses primarily on corporate bankruptcy, restructuring, bankruptcy litigation, and other insolvency-related matters. Amy has experience in a number of industries, including retail, airline, health care, and banking.
Amy has led or played significant roles in chapter 11 representations of debtors, secured and unsecured creditors, committees, and potential purchasers of distressed companies and related assets out of chapter 11 proceedings. Recently, Amy represented the City of Atlanta/Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport in the chapter 11 cases of Northwest Airlines Corporation and its affiliates and in its role as a member of the official committee of unsecured creditors in the chapter 11 cases of Delta Air Lines and its affiliates. Amy also has served as debtor's counsel to Titan Inc. and its affiliates, Rhodes, Inc. and its affiliates, and LJM2 Co-Investment and its affiliates in their chapter 11 bankruptcy cases.
Amy is a member of the American Bankruptcy Institute. Before joining Jones Day, she practiced for five years in the New York and Atlanta financial restructuring groups of an Atlanta-based "AmLaw 100" law firm.
