After graduating from law school, on Law Review and cum laude, I became a law clerk to the Honorable Bernard Snyder and the Honorable George Ivins of the Philadelphia Court of Common Pleas. Upon completion, I spent a short time as an associate in the law firm which is now Cozen and O'Connor, a nationally recognized leader in the field of insurance law. I then accepted an appointment under Edward G. Rendell, as an Assistant Philadelphia District Attorney. After moving to New Jersey, I became an Assistant Camden County Prosecutor under Lee A. Solomon.

As an assistant prosecutor I handled hundreds of juvenile matters in the Family Division, litigated complex motions for the State, was an acting Camden City Municipal Prosecutor, and indicted over 800 cases before the Camden County Grand Jury. I handled hundreds of indictable/felony cases and tried numerous jury trials, in areas such as drug possession and distribution, school zone violations, domestic violence, aggravated assault, fraud, burglary, robbery, child sexual assault, child physical abuse, homicides, attempted murder and other crimes of magnitude.

In 2006 I began my private practice devoted exclusively to criminal defense and defending constitutional rights. In addition to a private practice, I have been appointed by Deputy Public Defenders in Atlantic, Camden, Gloucester and Burlington counties, to defend homicides, sexual assaults, murder-for-hire, gang violence, armed robberies, fraud, leaders of drug trafficking networks, as well as other significant matters. In 2008, I was recommended by my peers to take an examination in criminal law expertise and I was certified by the Supreme Court of New Jersey as a Certified Criminal Trial Attorney.

Much of my practice involves pre-trial practices which include gaining dismissals of indictments due to police misconduct and violations of my clients' constitutional rights. I am very familiar with both the Superior Court and Municipal Court practices, and the many alternatives that are available in lieu of trials and convictions. I travel extensively throughout New Jersey defending crimes, offenses and traffic violations and have defended hundreds of drivers accused of DUI. In addition to a busy practice in the New Jersey Courts, I defend those accused of crimes and offenses in Pennsylvania and Federal Courts. I am committed to my work and fight for all of our rights and privileges under the Constitution.
