Andrew Ewalt is an associate in the Antitrust and Competition Department at WilmerHale. He joined the firm in 2005.
Practice
Mr. Ewalt represents clients in a wide variety of antitrust matters pending before federal courts and agencies. He has represented financial institutions in complex class action litigations and consumer electronics companies in cases raising novel issues at the intersection of intellectual property and antitrust law. Mr. Ewalt also represents patent holders in connection with administrative proceedings before the Federal Trade Commission.
In addition to litigation, Mr. Ewalt has counseled pharmaceutical companies under investigation by the Federal Trade Commission and advised clients about business practices such as product bundling and information sharing. Prior to joining the firm, Mr. Ewalt clerked for the Honorable Stewart Dalzell of the United States District Court for the Eastern District of Pennsylvania. He also interned with GlaxoSmithKline's intellectual property department and with the United States Attorney's Office in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, and worked as an analyst for Andersen Consulting.
