Pacheco, Norma Iglesias

Lara focuses her practice on all aspects of employment litigation. She represents individuals and businesses in a wide variety of matters including all forms of discrimination, harassment, wage and hour, and wrongful discharge claims. Her litigation practice also includes contract and commercial disputes.

Lara also counsels clients on a variety of employment and human resources issues to assist them in preventing employment claims from arising. She works with businesses to develop personnel policies and employee handbooks, drafts and negotiates employment contracts, and assists clients in complying with state and federal employment laws.

Lara was born and raised in Kansas City. She graduated with a B.A. in History from Northwestern University. She graduated cum laude from the University of Missouri at Kansas City School of Law, where she was the Managing Editor of the Law Review. While in law school, Lara spent a summer in Ireland studying the European Union's legal system. She also served as an intern under the Honorable H. Dean Whipple, United States District Court, Western District of Missouri.
