Scott C. Evans focuses his practice in the areas of products liability and environmental law.
He graduated cum laude, in 2008 from the University of South Carolina School of Law, where he received CALI Awards in Constitutional Law I, Entertainment Law, Evidence, Insurance, and Race and Relations Law, and was on the Dean’s List. He was elected to the Order of the Coif Honor Society, the Order of the Wig and Robe Honor Society, and participated in Moot Court, where he was Competition Team Captain and awarded the prestigious Order of the Barristers.
A 2005 graduate of College of Charleston Honors College, Evans received his B.S., summa cum laude, in Business Administration. He was named Top Honor Graduate, ranking number one in his class, awarded the Alumni Medal and served as co-president of the Sigma Alpha Phi Honor Society.
Evans served as judicial law clerk to the Honorable Terry L. Wooten, United States Judge for the District of South Carolina, Florence Division from 2008 to 2010.
While attending law school, Evans clerked at Richardson, Patrick, Westbrook & Brickman in Barnwell, and was a judicial intern for the Honorable Margaret B. Seymour, United States Judge for District of South Carolina, Columbia Division.
He was admitted to practice in South Carolina in November 2008, and is a member of the South Carolina Bar Association and the Georgetown County Bar Association.
