Kurt Elieson has 17 years of experience as a trial lawyer and another 2 years as in-house counsel to Retractable Technologies, Inc. He practices in the areas of civil, commercial and complex litigation, business law and construction law. He represents both debtors and creditors in bankruptcy proceedings.
Kurt Elieson is licensed to practice in all Texas courts, the United States District Courts for the Eastern and Northern Districts of Texas, the United States Bankruptcy Courts for the Eastern and Northern Districts of Texas, and the United States Court of Appeals for the Fifth Circuit.

Kurt Elieson received his Bachelor of Arts in Quantitative Economics from Stanford University (1988) where he won the annual Fairclough Prize for outstanding research paper in Classics and studied in Vienna, Austria. He received his law degree from the University of Texas School of Law (1991). He is fluent in Spanish.
