Michelle is an experienced civil litigator focusing her practice on family law and employment matters. Michelle is routinely appointed by Family Court and Supreme Court judges to represent children in complex custody matters providing her with a unique insight into family law litigation.
Michelle received her B.S. in Business Administration, cum laude, from Nazareth College. At Syracuse Law School, Michelle received the Justinian Honorary Law Society Award and was the technical editor for the Syracuse Journal of International Law and Commerce. While in law school, Michelle clerked for Judge John F. Lawton, Appellate Division Fourth Department. After graduating with her J.D., cum laude, Michelle formed her own practice focusing on employment litigation. In 2004 - 2008, Michelle joined Chamberlain D'Amanda LLP as a Senior Litigation Associate where she handled a broad range of civil matters including family law, personal injury, employment, commercial transactions, and bankruptcy.
PERSONAL INFORMATION
Michelle is a native to the Western New York area and is actively involved in various community and charitable organizations. Michelle actively participates as a pro bono attorney with the Volunteer Legal Services Program representing indigent clients in family law and divorce matters. Additionally, Michelle serves on the board for the ARC of Monroe Foundation Board assisting with fund raising projects benefiting individuals with intellection and/or developmental disabilities. Michelle is also actively involved with the Monroe County Bar Association serving on both the Judiciary and Fee Arbitration Committee.
