Professional Background
From 1975 to 1981, I was at Winthrop, Stimson, Putnam & Roberts (now Pillsbury Winthrop Shaw Pitman) then in my own firm from 1981 to 1984.
From 1984-1999, I was a litigating partner at Edwards & Angell (now Edwards Angell Palmer Dodge) in New York, where I also was New York's managing partner and a member of the firm’s elected executive committee from 1986-1994.
I have served on the National Faculty of the National Institute of Trial Advocacy (“NITA”) in Boulder, Colorado.
I have lectured for the Tri State Chapter of the American Academy of Psychiatry and the Law and the Bellevue Hospital Forensic Psychiatry Clinic. I have also presented to practicing psychiatrists on several topics, including the legal issues surrounding sexual harassment and recovered memory.
