Alex A. Omrani determined early in his legal career that his calling was to represent individuals who have suffered traumatic injuries as a result of accidents or malpractice. Mr. Omrani understood that defending the rights of the injured would frequently require him to fight against large corporations and insurance companies with substantial resources. However, with his training, experience, and dedication, Mr. Omrani enjoys playing the roll of David against corporate Goliaths. In the words of Mr. Omrani, "I believe the courtroom and the jury are the ultimate equalizers; once inside the courtroom the money, power and influence of insurance companies and corporations does not count for much."
Mr. Omrani's determination and ability to get results is demonstrated by the numerous settlements and verdicts he has obtained for the clients of his firm. However, he is reluctant to gauge success solely in terms of money recovered, acknowledging that real success is measured by considering the impact of the firm's work in obtaining awards that improve the quality of life for the firm's injured clients.
Alex A. Omrani is a graduate of Hofstra University School of Law where he served as an editor to the Labor Law Journal and a Student Advocate with the Hofstra Criminal Law Clinic representing indigent clients. After serving as an associate with a prestigious personal injury firm, Mr. Omrani departed to form the law firm of Omrani & Taub, P.C., where he is a senior partner.
