O'Malley, Kevin J.

Joseph Timothy Edwards was born in Raleigh, North Carolina on June 27, 1960, and received his undergraduate B.S. degree in Business Administration from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill in 1985. While at Carolina, he was a member of the Chi Phi fraternity. Mr. Edwards also received his law degree from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill in 1985. He was admitted to the Bar in 1985 and has been admitted to practice before the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of North Carolina.

Mr. Edwards' entire law career has been dedicated to representing clients in the fields of personal injury, wrongful death and medical negligence law. He has successfully tried cases in numerous countries in eastern North Carolina and is also experienced in alternative dispute resolution, including arbitration and mediation.

Mr. Edwards is currently a member of the American Bar Association, North Carolina Bar Association, North Carolina State Bar, The Association of Trial Lawyers of America, the North Carolina Academy of Trial Lawyers and the Pitt County Bar Association. He currently serves on the Ethics Committed for the Litigation Section of the North Carolina Bar Association and is a member of the Eastern North Carolina Inn of Court. Mr. Edwards is a member of Oakmont Baptist Church and currently serves as chairman of the Deacons.
