Mr. Ellis is an associate in the Corporate Practice Group and the Private Client Practice Group. He joined the firm in 2010.
Past Experience
During law school, Mr. Ellis was a summer associate at WilmerHale. Prior to joining the firm, Mr. Ellis worked for a boutique firm in Charlottesville, VA in the areas of construction law, medical malpractice defense, corporate formation and estate planning.
Before attending the University of Virginia School of Law, Mr. Ellis taught English for three years at Northern Valley Regional High School, where he was responsible for the creation of multiple electives.
Mr. Ellis began his career at UBS PaineWebber as a private client group associate. While there, he was specifically responsible for options strategy, securities backed lending, thorough risk/reward analysis and investment advice for high net worth clients.
