Matt S. Englett is a native Floridian who was born in the city of Orlando. Matt attended Florida Southern College where he pursued a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration. After completing his undergraduate studies in 1994, he went on to Mississippi College School of Law. Matt received his Juris Doctorate in 1998 and was admitted to the Florida Bar that same year.Matt began his legal career as a State Prosecutor where he gained valuable experience as a trial attorney. As a result of working hands on with people as a prosecutor, Matt realized that ordinary people with modest means were in dire need of better legal representation. With this as the premise, he along with Jeff Kaufman and Craig Lynd founded Kaufman, Englett & Lynd, PLLC which is more widely known as KEL or KEL Attorneys.Matt is the Managing Partner at the firm and he spends much of his time working with KEL’s attorneys and staff to make sure every client the firm represent is receiving the highest level of legal services. Matt also spends a large portion of his time educating the public on legal issues that may be effecting people’s lives. Matt routinely appears on nationally and locally produced TV and radio programs to do legal analysis. His appearances include CNBC The Kudlow Report, Fox Business News, National Fox News, local NBC, CBS, ABC and Fox affiliates in both Orlando and Tampa markets. Matt is a regular contributor on CNBC’s The Kudlow Report and Fox13 Good Day Tampa Bay. Matt can also be heard every week on The Buckethead show, Wednesdays at 1:00 on 104.1 FM WTKS and his own show Under Oath every Tuesday and Thursday at 6 pm on 540 am WFLA both in Central Florida.
