Oley, Tracy L.

Beau Ellis is an associate attorney with Day Law Group, P.C. His practice areas include representation of farmers, construction companies, small businesses, real property matters, estate planning and probates and administration of estates.

Beau began his career with Tyler Smith & Associates P.C. in Canby, Oregon. Beau worked as a law clerk for the law firm of O'Donnell Clark & Crew LLP, in Portland, Oregon, where his primary focus was in the litigation of personal injury, land use, and charter school issues. Beau also worked for Oregonians In Action, and was very involved with many political, land use, and real property issues.

Beau is a graduate of Gonzaga University School of Law. While at Gonzaga, he was heavily involved with Moot Court activities. Beau was selected to represent Gonzaga in the 2009 Saul Lefkowitz Trademark and Unfair Competition appellate advocacy competition. Beau was very successful in intraschool moot court activities as well, winning the 2008 Linden Cup Competition, which he argued before members of the Washington and Idaho Supreme Courts. Beau also spent a semester as a Rule 9 extern prosecutor for the Spokane County Prosecuting Attorney's Office, where he managed several motion and appearance dockets.

Prior to attending Gonzaga, Beau graduated from Oregon State University with a Bachelors of Science in Agricultural Business Management, while earning a minor in Animal Science. During his time at Oregon State, Beau was a member of the 2004 competitive livestock judging team as well as several student clubs.

Beau is native to Oregon, having been raised on a farm near Canby. In fact, his family homesteaded in an area outside of Mollala, where members of his family continue to live and farm.  In his free time, Beau enjoys spending time with his wife, Ali, the occasional fishing trip, and hunting in Oregon's many wildernesses.
