Mary O'Donnell is an experienced litigator in federal and state courts, specializing in the defense of various national railroads. She has participated in numerous trials on behalf of her railroad clients, involving FELA traumatic claims and railroad crossing accidents. Mary has also successfully represented the railroad in both federal and state appellate courts.
Mary is a long-time member of the National Association of Railroad Trail Counsel (NARTC) and has given numerous presentations to the group. She serves on the NARTC Executive and Program Committees. Mary is also a member of the American Short Line & Regional Railroad Association. She is a member of the bar of the State of Michigan and is admitted to practice law in the United States District Court of both the Eastern and Western Districts of Michigan, the United States Court of Appeals for the Sixth Circuit, and the United States Supreme Court.
Mary was born in 1955. She received a B.S. degree from the University of Colorado (With Distinction). In 1981, Mary received a Juris Doctor degree form the Wayne State University. Mary has proved outstanding representation on behalf of her railroad clients throughout her professional career. She joined Durkin, McDonnell, Clifton & O'Donnell as partner in 2001.
