Hillary graduated summa cum laude from Agnes Scott College with a degree in history. After spending a year clerking with a large law firm in Atlanta assisting in nationwide pharmaceutical litigation, Hillary attend Georgia State University School of Law and became a member of the Georgia bar in 2005.
Though the big firm experience helped her know law was the right career, she realized a community oriented practice was a better fit, and she moved with her husband to Covington to begin her career. Since moving to Covington, Hillary has worked with two of the oldest firms in the area. She has handled a wide variety of cases, including work in the appellate courts of Georgia, for the businesses and residence of Newton and the surrounding counties. A member of First Baptist Covington and the Kiwanis Club of Covington, she is involved with the community. She serves on the Boards of the Covington/Newton Chamber of Commerce and Georgia Piedmont Technical College Foundation, where she is Treasurer.
She is married to an educator and has a daughter. Hillary is an avid traveler, having visited places as far as China and Poland. She spent a summer studying at the University of Oslo, Norway as a Rotary Scholar. In January 2012, she became a partner with Crudup, Hendricks & Edgar, LLP.
