Hien focuses her practice on the representation of employers in all aspects of labor and employment law. Her diverse experience includes litigating employment class actions, alleged wrongful termination, harassment, discrimination, retaliation, and issues related to disability law, civil rights, leaves of absence, compliance matters, and breach of contract in federal and state courts.

Hien also provides counseling to clients on a full range of employment-related issues such as personnel practices, employment and severance agreements, and wage and hour compliance under the FLSA and California law. Her practice further includes experience in commercial and business litigation on issues ranging from real estate to products liability.

Hien was named a Southern California "Rising Star" in the area of employment law in 2007 and 2009, an honor reserved for the top 2.5 percent of up-and-coming lawyers under age 40 in Southern California. Her professional and civil affiliations include serving as adjunct staff for the Institute for Civil Justice unit of the RAND Corporation and as a volunteer for Feeding America and The Alliance for Children's Rights.
