The representation of clients in the mortgage industry on a variety of matters such as those related to foreclosures, title insurance claims, loan transactions, and financial regulatory issues is part of her practice. Her real estate litigation practice includes the representation of clients in matters involving real estate investments, landlord tenant disputes, and contracts for purchase and sale. Doris has also represented lenders and individual in title disputes and title insurance claims. Doris regularly conducts real estate transaction closings and represents clients from pre-contract through closing on real estate sales and purchases, providing title insurance and settlement agent services.
Doris has represented debtors in both Chapter 7 and Chapter 13 bankruptcy filings and proceedings. She has also represented many individuals in the defense of foreclosure and loan modification requests, assisting clients to remain in their homes and seek permanent solutions to their financial and legal difficulties.
