Dana Nelson joined Mozley, Finlayson & Loggins as Of Counsel in 2011 to practice in the areas of workers' compensation and general liability. Prior to joining the firm, Mrs.. Nelson was an equity partner at another Atlanta firm specializing in insurance defense, general liability, coverage, and workers' compensation. She was admitted to the State Bar of Georgia in 1990.
Mrs. Nelson was born in Queens, New York. She attended Syracuse University and the College of Charleston, where she received a B.S. in Sociology with Honors in 1987. Her law degree is from the University of South Carolina where she graduated with Deans' List Honors in 1990. During law school, Mrs.. Nelson worked for the Attorney General of South Carolina prosecuting special cases with the DEA, ATF and FBI involving drugs, obscenity, and political corruption. Throughout law school, Mrs.. Nelson worked under Federal U.S. District Court Judge Cameron McGowan Currie."
