Ms. Neale grew up in Mukilteo, Washington and attended the University of Washington, where she received a B.A. in History. She graduated from Lewis and Clark Law School with a J.D. in 2004 and was admitted to the Oregon Bar later that year. She was admitted to the Washington Bar in 2005.
After law school, Gretchen returned to the Seattle area as a clerk for the Hon. Ronald Castleberry in Snohomish County Superior Court. Over the next few years, she gained valuable litigation and trial advocacy skills as a public defender in Snohomish and Whatcom County, representing clients at all stages of misdemeanor and felony proceedings. Ms. Neale expanded her litigation experience in the civil arena, working for a Seattle workers’ compensation firm before joining Anderson, Fields, Dermody & Pressnall.
Ms. Neale is a member of the King County Bar Association, Washington Women Lawyers, and Washington State Bar. She practices in all areas of family law and handles some criminal defense matters.
When not practicing law, Gretchen enjoys running with her dog Ocho, hiking, skiing during the winter months, and rooting for the Sounders with her husband.
