Jon Muskin is a partner with over ten years of intellectual property law experience, focusing his practice on procuring patents and related matters. He has prosecuted patents in a wide array of technological fields, such as computer architecture, computer graphics, web applications, wireless communications, network architecture, encryption techniques, image processing, casino gaming, robotics, toys, consumer electronics, financial systems, and business methods. He has prepared patent applications for a wide range of clients from the largest companies in the world to independent inventors as well as government agencies such as NASA. Mr. Muskin has also negotiated dozens of intellectual property licenses and related agreements.
Mr. Muskin serves as a volunteer lawyer for Philadelphia Volunteer Lawyers for the Arts, as well as a judge for the John S. Bradway Mock Trial Competition in Philadelphia.
Mr. Muskin is licensed to practice in Pennsylvania, New York and before the United States Patent and Trademark Office. Mr. Muskin holds a Juris Doctor from the John Marshall Law School in Chicago, received in 1995, where he also holds an LLM (Master of Laws) degree in Intellectual Property Law, with honors. He also holds a Masters Degree in Computer Science from American University, and a Bachelor of Science Degree from Tulane University.
