Cassandra Mott represents capital providers and borrowers in a broad range of finance transactions across a vast array of industries, including energy, health care, insurance, consumer products, and manufacturing. She has structured, negotiated, and documented senior and subordinated financing facilities of many types, including general working capital, investment-grade credit, asset-based, multijurisdictional and multicurrency, and syndicated facilities. She also advises energy clients on collateral support and intercreditor matters relating to hedge transactions. Her practice also includes advising clients on in-court and out-of-court debt restructurings, as well as on intercreditor issues, helping them structure and negotiate transactions with multiple debt tranches and lien priorities.
Clients for which she has worked recently on significant matters include Davis Petroleum; EDF Trading Limited; Energy Partners, Ltd.; Hexion Specialty Chemicals; Jefferies; KeyBank; and PNC.
Cassandra's practice also includes working with private equity funds and their portfolio companies on leveraged buyout financings, as well as with capital providers to private equity funds. Her representative private equity clients include Brockway Moran & Partners, Edgewater Capital Partners, Evercore Partners, High Road Capital Partners, Morgenthaler Partners, Patriarch Partners, Raymond James Capital, The Riverside Company, and TSG Consumer Partners.
She has worked on many transactions with companies with operations outside of the United States, including Australia, Brazil, Canada, Cayman Islands, China, England, France, Germany, Italy, Japan, Mexico, the Netherlands, New Zealand, Panama, and Sweden.
Cassandra is the president-elect of the Houston Chapter of the Association for Corporate Growth.
