Ann L. Moscow is Senior Counsel at Sapir Schragin LLP.  She represents clients – both employers and employees – in a broad range of labor and employment matters, including advice and counsel, litigation, discrimination, harassment, retaliation, wrongful termination, wage and hour disputes, contract disputes, and other issues that arise in the workplace.

Ms. Moscow came to Sapir Schragin LLP with over two decades of experience gained at prominent law firms, and at the New York City Law Department.  During this time, Ms. Moscow has provided advice and counsel to clients in a variety of industries, including major investment houses and banks, hospitals and health care organizations, retail clothing companies, and not-for-profit organizations, on a wide range of employment related issues, such as compliance with applicable federal, state and local employment laws, torts, contract and common law claims, and non-competition and non-solicitation issues.  She also has successfully represented clients in litigation and arbitration in federal and state courts, and administrative and arbitral agencies.  Ms. Moscow has represented clients in private and court-sponsored mediation.  As an Assistant Corporation Counsel and Deputy Assistant Chief at the New York City Office of the Corporation Counsel, Ms. Moscow represented city agencies and personnel in employment and civil rights matters, and tried and won six cases in Federal Court.

Ms. Moscow has spoken to various groups in the metropolitan area on an array of employment law topics.  She has contributed several articles to the New York Employment Newsletter.  Ms. Moscow’s passion for zealously representing clients has sometimes led her to uncharted waters, including the development of an evidentiary standard for the use of DNA evidence in civil matters as reported in McGrath v. Nassau Health Care Corp., 209 F.R.D. 55 (E.D.N.Y. 2002).
