Barbara Moss is multi-talented and is active in litigation of all types of business and employment cases, and participation as a neutral in arbitrations and mediations. She has been on the Commercial and Employment Panels of the American Arbitration Association since 1993 and is a Tennessee Supreme Court Rule 31 Mediator.
Ms Moss served as an adjunct professor at the Vanderbilt School of Law from 1984 to 2000. She was the first woman to chair the Board of Professional Responsibility of the Supreme Court of Tennessee, the organization that supervises ethics and discipline for lawyers in Tennessee. She is listed in Best Lawyers in America® (2005-2009). She has been named by her peers on multiple occasions as one of the 100 best lawyers in Nashville in the Nashville Business Journal's Best of the Bar contest and was named a Mid-South Super Lawyer by Law & Politics Magazine (2006-2007).
Ms. Moss was the 2007 recipient of the Athena Award and in 2008 was named to the Academy of Women of Achievement Award by the Nashville YWCA. She is a contributing writer for The Tennessean, where her work appears every two weeks in the business section.
