Mr. Mulvihill attended University of South Alabama in Mobile, AL, and later was admitted to Stetson University College of Law and graduated with honors (Cum Laude) in 2004. Like many other experienced civil trial lawyers, Mulvihill started in the State Attorneys' office, serving the Pinellas County, Florida community. Mulvihill worked his way through the ranks as a Misdemeanor Prosecutor, South Pinellas County Traffic Prosecutor, Lead Misdemeanor Trial Attorney and, ultimately, Felony Prosecutor.
During his tenure at the State Attorney's office Mr. Mulvihill handled hundreds of complex criminal matters, and racked up more than three dozen trials. "After I got the hang of trying cases, through the process of picking juries, preparing experts, and cross examining the bad guys, I was hooked on being a trial lawyer."
After leaving the Sixth Judicial Circuit State Attorney's Office, Mr. Mulvihill dedicated his work to representing victims of personal injury and negligence. As a litigation and trial attorney Mr. Mulvihill represented individuals injured by the negligence of others; whether it was from a motor vehicle accident, slip and fall, trip and fall, wrongful death, premises liability, dog bite or general negligence. Mr. Mulvihill began at John Bales Attorneys, where he represented injury victims throughout the Tampa Bay area. Mr. Mulvihill worked on all facets of personal injury cases; including constructing demand packages, negotiating with insurance companies, and filing lawsuits against defendants.
After John Bales Attorneys, Mr. Mulvihill worked at Winters & Yonker, as a trial attorney. During his tenure at Winters & Yonker, he represented hundreds of personal injury victims throughout Hillsborough, Pinellas, Pasco, Polk, Hernando, Citrus, Manatee, Sarasota, Lee, Sumter, Marion, Alachua, and Duval Counties. As a litigation and trial attorney at Winters & Yonker, Mr. Mulvihill helped hundreds of clients through the rigors of a personal injury case - from the beginning stages of counseling a client and gathering evidence all the way to the completion of a case through a jury trial. Mr. Mulvihill represented and assisted clients through the litigation process, including depositions, mediations, evidentiary motion hearings and jury trials.
Just as before, Mulvihill found himself in the courtroom, where he is the most comfortable. "During the more than ten or so civil trials at W&Y, I learned from each trial, something about the process that makes the next trial even better."
