Ms. Moran is an associate in the Litigation/Controversy Department. She joined the firm in 2010.
Past Experience
While attending law school, Ms. Moran was a legal clerk for the Learning Rights Law Center in Los Angeles, California. While there, she researched and drafted memoranda regarding state and federal disability law and special education law.
As a legal clerk, she also drafted motions to the Federal District Court of Central California, drafted compliance complaints to the California Department of Education, drafted requests for due process hearings to the Office of Administrative Hearings and interviewed and counseled potential clients.
Prior to attending law school, Ms. Moran was selected to teach at under-privileged and impoverished inner-city schools as a teacher for the Teach For America program in the Los Angeles Unified School District.
