Douglas Award for outstanding representation. This award is given to an attorney who displays extraordinary courage and dedication to the practice of criminal law, and is the highest award given by the WACDL.

American College of Trial Lawyers fellow: Mr. Moore is a Fellow in the American College of Trial Lawyers (ACTL). The ACTL is the premier attorney organization in the United States and Canada. No more than 1% of lawyers licensed in each state are granted admission to the ACTL.

Death penalty qualification: For many years, Mr. Moore has been qualified by the Supreme Court to defend death penalty cases in the state of Washington at the trial court level. Currently, only a select few attorneys have met the rigorous standards required to achieve qualification.
