Dustin M. Monroy joined Watanabe Ing LLP as an associate in 2008, practicing in the areas of commercial and construction finance and banking law, land use and environmental law, and creditors’ rights law.
While attending the Richardson School of Law, Mr. Monroy was a staff writer of the University of Hawaii Law Review and received the American Jurisprudence Award for Legal Method Seminar.
Mr. Monroy also served as an extern for the Honorable Richard R. Clifton, United States Court of Appeals Judge for the Ninth Circuit, and for the Honorable Susan Oki Mollway, United States District Court Judge for the District of Hawaii.
Prior to enrolling in law school, Mr. Monroy worked as an investment bank analyst in the Mergers and Acquisitions group of Rothschild in New York City, New York, and as an associate at Title Guaranty Escrow Services in Honolulu, Hawaii.
Mr. Monroy is a member of the Hawaii State Bar Association. He is admitted to practice before all of the state and federal courts of the State of Hawaii.
