Ms. Momblanco joined Laner, Muchin, Dombrow, Becker, Levin and Tominberg, Ltd. in December 2005, as an Associate in the Immigration Department and she became a Partner in January 2009. Ms. Momblanco has devoted her career to the practice of immigration law. Upon graduation from law school in 1998, she began employment with Minsky, McCormick and Hallagan, P.C., a major immigration law firm in downtown Chicago. Since then, she has focused her practice on employment-based immigration law and has represented many large, multinational companies located throughout the U.S. Ms. Momblanco currently serves as Vice-Chair of the Immigration and Nationality Committee of the Chicago Bar Association. Previously, she served as Co-Chair of the Immigration Committee for the Young Lawyers Section of the Chicago Bar Association, Chair of the Young Lawyers Division of the American Immigration Lawyers Association and served on the U.S. Department of Labor Liaison Committee. Ms. Momblanco has spoken on several panels covering various immigration-related topics such as I-9 Compliance, Worksite Enforcement and Nonimmigrant Visas for the American Immigration Lawyers Association, the Chicago Bar Association, the American Bar Association and the Federal Bar Association.
