AREAS OF CONCENTRATION

Carolyn's practice is focused in the health care industry.  Most of her career she has addressed the broad spectrum of legal issues encountered by hospital and healthcare systems including the application of federal and state regulations to their business ventures, policy making, overall compliance initiatives, and day-to-day operations.   She has completed joint venture arrangements between hospitals and physicians.   She has worked with non-profit, for-profit, and governmental health care entities and has a comprehensive understanding of the needs of these health care clients.  Foremost an advisor on transactional and operational legal matters, Carolyn has also served as in-house counsel providing corporate legal support to a for-profit health care corporation and its management company subsidiary.  Carolyn has worked closely with physicians, hospital executives, and health care business ventures for over two decades, and has encountered nearly all facets of health care operational issues.  Prior to law school, Carolyn worked in health care administration for 15 years.
