Montague, Celestine M.

Tucker Mitchell is originally from Cleveland, Mississippi and graduated from Delta State University in 1981 with honors with a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Political Science. In 1983, Mr. Mitchell graduated from the University of Mississippi School of Law. Mr. Mitchell practices in the firm's general litigation section, and has experience in insurance defense; insurance coverage law; personal injury defense; investigation and litigation of suspicious claims, including fire and theft; and defense of employers in employment litigation.  He has extensive trial experience, having tried approximately 100 jury trials in state and federal courts in Mississippi.

Mr. Mitchell is admitted to practice before all state and federal courts in Mississippi and the United States Court of Appeals for the Fifth Circuit. He is a member of Federation of Defense and Corporate Counsel whose membership is limited to 1500 members worldwide and consists of in-house counsel and attorneys in private practice.  Mr. Mitchell is also a member of Council on Litigation Management and has been rated by his peers as an "A-V" attorney for his ethical standards and legal abilities, which is the highest rating under the Martindale-Hubbell guidelines. Mr. Mitchell has been active in the Mississippi Bar and is past Chairman of the Bench Bar Liaison Committee. He has also been selected as a Fellow of the Mississippi Bar Foundation.
