Mike Michetti's practice focuses on representing management in all types of labor and employment matters. He has defended employers in collective actions and single plaintiff cases arising under federal and state laws, including Title VII, the Fair Labor Standards Act, the Americans with Disabilities Act, the Age Discrimination in Employment Act, and the Family Medical Leave Act.

Mike's litigation experience includes first-chair labor arbitration experience, along with appearances in both state and federal courts in employment cases and wage disputes. A significant portion of Mike's practice also involves counseling businesses with respect to litigation prevention and their overall compliance with state and federal employment laws, assisting clients in creating cost-effective solutions that comply with complex legal requirements. Mike has handled a broad range of traditional labor matters on behalf of clients, representing clients in labor negotiations, arbitration, and contract administration issues arising under the National Labor Relations Act. In addition, Mike has litigated trade secrets disputes on behalf of employers in a variety of contexts. Prior to becoming an attorney, he worked as a human resources manager at a mid-sized, privately held transportation company.

Mike is a member of the Cleveland Metropolitan Bar Association, the Ohio State Bar Association, and the American Bar Association (Labor and Employment Section).
