Bob has more than 30 years of experience as a bankruptcy, creditors' rights and restructuring attorney. His practice also includes general commercial litigation in both the state and federal courts as well as corporate matters. Over the course of his career Bob has had significant involvement in some of the largest and most complex bankruptcy proceedings representing debtors, creditors, trustees and creditors' committees, but has also represented small and medium sized businesses and individuals. Bob also serves as a post-confirmation litigation trustee.
Bob began his career as the law clerk to the late Honorable Conrad B. Duberstein, Chief Judge of the United States Bankruptcy Court for the Eastern District of New York. Later he was a partner with several prestigious Am Law 100 law firms. Most recently, he operated a solo practice specializing in debtor and creditors' rights, litigation and general corporate matters. Bob's success as a solo practitioner motivated him to form Rich Michaelson Magaliff Moser, LLP with longstanding professional colleagues who share his passion for providing practical advice and superior representation at competitive rates.
Bob is the author a number of professional articles on bankruptcy and related topics and enjoys a peer rating of AV from Martin-Hubbell, the highest ranking for legal skill and professional ethics.
