Thomas McWeeny joined the firm as an associate in May of 2006. Prior to joining the firm as an attorney, Mr. McWeeny was a law clerk with the firm for two years assisting our attorneys in the research and analysis of complex legal issues and administrating workers’ compensation claims and personal injury lawsuits. While attending law school Mr. McWeeny also interned with the law firm of Greenspun & Mann, P.C. assisting in the capital murder trial of John Allen Mohammad, in connection with the 2002 “beltway sniper” shootings.
Mr. McWeeny graduated Summa Cum Laude from Radford University where he had tutored Logic for four years before graduating with a degree in Philosophy and Religious Studies. Upon graduation Mr. McWeeny worked as a legal assistant clerk with the law firm of Hogan & Hartson, L.L.P. assisting in large-scale litigation matters before attending law school at George Mason University School of Law.
Mr. McWeeny represents clients in workers’ compensation claims throughout Virginia and a wide range of personal injury areas including, automobile accidents, products and premises liability, construction accidents, and medical malpractice. He is admitted to practice in the Commonwealth of Virginia and is a member of the American Bar Association, the Virginia Bar Association, the Virginia Trial Lawyers Association, and is a sub-committee head within the Fairfax Circuit Court Committee. Mr. McWeeny lives in Herndon, Virginia.
