Carl McNulty is in the firm’s litigation group, focusing his practice in the area of toxic torts. Prior to joining Herzog Crebs, Mr McNulty was heavily involved in the Madison County and St. Louis asbestos litigation circuit while working at the law firms of Hepler Broom of Edwardsville, Illinois and Gunty & McCarthy of Chicago. Throughout his twenty plus years as an attorney, Mr. McNulty has developed a proficiency in numerous areas of civil litigation, including bankruptcy, commercial litigation, premises liability, workers compensation, insurance defense and railroad litigation. He has been involved in all facets of litigation, including trials; appeals; motion hearings; depositions; preparation of expert witnesses; mediations; and drafting of pleadings, motions, and appellate briefs.
Mr. McNulty spent the first part of his legal career in Florida, practicing in the areas of bankruptcy and commercial litigation for the law firms of Stichter, Riedel, Blain and Prosser in Tampa, Florida and Edwards & Angell in Palm Beach, Florida.
Mr. McNulty graduated with a Juris Doctorate with honors from the University of Florida in 1989 and received the American Jurisprudence Book Award for Patents, Trademarks and Copyrights. He also holds a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and a Masters in Fine Arts for theatre from the University of Florida. He maintains an interest in the theatre and remains a member of Actors' Equity Association. He has served in the past as treasurer and member of the administrative council for the Clayton United Methodist Church.
