KEVIN A. McNAMEE is a Partner in the firm's Nuclear Energy, Energy Transactions and Acquisitions, Energy/Utility Regulation, FERC Enforcement and Compliance, and Energy Litigation sections. His practice is focused on the representation of the owners, operators and purchasers of electric generating, transmission and distribution facilities, with special emphasis on nuclear fuel, nuclear development and regulation, and transmission/distribution operation and regulation. He represents owners and operators of nuclear reactors in matters including the negotiation and development of uranium concentrates, conversion services, enrichment services and fuel fabrication agreements and contract and fuel cycle issues. In addition, he has worked on contested applications for early site permits and combined licenses.
In addition, he has represented clients with regard to Federal and State utility issues, including open access transmission tariff issues, the negotiation and development of a variety of transmission and distribution agreements, appellate proceedings before the Federal Courts of Appeals and before the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission, including rulemakings, rate filings and reliability matters.
