Meaders, Kim M.

John graduated from the Wake Forest University School of Law in 2004. During school, John was active in the Moot Court program, where he competed in national competitions and was voted Chief Justice of the Moot Court  Board for the 2003-2004 term. Upon graduation he was named to the National Order of Barristers. John moved to Raleigh as soon as he heard about it. John has been a courtroom lawyer since his first day in practice and regularly appears in District and Superior Courts across North Carolina, where he is generally tolerated by judges and courthouse staff. John has been named a "Rising Star" by Super Lawyers.

Outside of work, John is an avid gardener and internet peruser.  He is happily married to a wonderful woman who hasn't figured out yet that she's too good for him.  He is the proud owner of a dog called Lucy, who is awesome, and he also has a cat called Matt, who is just OK. John is active in local politics and has successfully managed two county-wide campaigns. John is a past member of the Board of Directors for both the Women's Center of Wake County and Capital Opera.
