Jasmine McGhee is a senior associate in the firm's Litigation/Controversy Department, and a member of the Investigations and Criminal Litigation Practice Group. She joined the firm in 2007 following a clerkship in the United States District Court for the District of Maryland.
Practice
Ms. McGhee’s practice focuses on internal and external corporate investigations and various areas of commercial litigation.
Since joining the firm, Ms. McGhee has represented clients in investigations in the United States and Latin America, matters involving, inter alia, the Foreign Corrupt Practices Act, white-collar criminal matters, and investigations by the Securities & Exchange Commission.
Ms. McGhee also practices in the area of complex commercial litigation, generally, but not exclusively, focused on patent litigation.
Ms. McGhee has an active pro bono practice, including representing a client in the DC Superior Court’s Family Court Division, representing housing advocacy organizations working to restore housing to Katrina victims, and working for Planned Parenthood of America.
Prior to joining the firm, Ms. McGhee served as an intern at the American Civil Liberties Union Voting Rights Project in Atlanta. In 2001, Ms. McGhee interned for the Honorable Mary Terrell for the District of Columbia Superior Court.
