McLain, Patrick J.

Jason joined the civil trial practice at Strong Law Offices as an associate in January, 2010, concentrating in tort litigation, including complex personal injury cases. Jason is a skilled mediator as well, and has provided pro bono mediations for the Chicago Center for Conflict Resolution in the past. An accomplished writer, Jason is the author of the article, "International Commercial Arbitration: An Introduction," which was published by the Illinois State Bar Association.

Before attending law school, Jason worked in the auto insurance industry investigating auto accidents and insurance coverage. He continued in this line of work while attending law school at night. Jason has extensive experience interpreting insurance policies and coverages, and possesses a vast knowledge of the procedural inner-workings of the auto insurance industry. His insight into the practices of insurers has proven valuable in helping to establish and evaluate bad-faith cases against some of Illinois's most notorious auto insurance providers.

Upon graduating from law school, Jason spent several months interning abroad with a leading international law firm in Bangkok, Thailand with its litigation and dispute resolution practice group. While there, he worked on a wide variety of cases including divorces, contract disputes, and personal injuries. "I enjoyed the time I spent in Thailand, and it afforded me a once in a lifetime opportunity to really experience another culture and legal system".

Prior to joining Strong Law Offices, Jason served as an associate attorney with the Chicago offices of the civil trial practice firms Horwitz, Horwitz & Associates, and Pipal & Berg, LLP. He is licensed to practice in the State of Illinois.
