Claudia Zumbro's practice is directed primarily towards transactional consulting work. She has considerable experience drafting and negotiating an array of intellectual property agreements, including product acquisition, patent licensing, joint development, consulting, collaborative and sponsored research, and clinical trial agreements. In addition, Claudia regularly advises clients with intellectual property issues that arise in the context of general corporation transactions.
While a substantial portion of Claudia's transactional work involves the biomedical and pharmaceutical industries, with clients ranging from small biotechnology start-ups to larger public companies and universities, her experience includes software development and the mechanical and electrical engineering fields.
In addition to her consulting work, she has participated in patent litigations relating to a variety of technologies such as diagnostic assays, pharmaceuticals, biomedical devices, methods of gene amplification, and stationery products.
Claudia is a member of the New York State Bar Association and the New York Intellectual Property Law Association.
