Pat serves as the Ethics/Claim Counsel in the firm of Briggs and Morgan, Professional Association. He is based in our Minneapolis office and provides a variety of in-house counsel functions for the firm.
He is admitted to practice before the U.S. Supreme Court, the U.S. Court of Appeals, the U.S. District Court and the Minnesota Supreme Court.
Pat is a member of the Association of Professional Responsibility Lawyers and the American Bar Association’s Center for Professional Responsibility.
Pat received his B.A. cum laude from the University of Dayton. He received his law degree from Notre Dame Law School, where he was a member of the Notre Dame Law Review. Following law school, Pat clerked for the Honorable Miles Lord of the U.S. District Court. He practiced law with the firm of Levitt, Palmer, Bowen, Rotman & Share until 1983, when it merged with Briggs. Before becoming Of Counsel to the firm, Pat was a member of the Business Litigation Section at Briggs.
