Pat Zomer practices in the areas of administrative and business law. As a member of Moss & Barnett's Regulated Entities practice area, he focuses on state and federal regulation of the energy and telecommunications industries. Mr. Zomer also practices in Moss & Barnett's Business Law practice area, helping clients of all sizes navigate business and corporate laws, obtain or facilitate financing, and address data privacy issues.
Prior to joining Moss & Barnett, Mr. Zomer clerked in the Office of the General Counsel at Xcel Energy Inc., focusing primarily on regulatory and data privacy matters. Mr. Zomer also previously worked as a consultant in Charles Rivers Associates' Energy and Environment group.
Mr. Zomer received his J.D., summa cum laude, from the University of St. Thomas School of Law in Minneapolis, Minnesota. While at St. Thomas, he served as the Publications Editor of the University of St. Thomas Law Journal and published an article examining the constitutionality of Minnesota's Next Generation Energy Act. Mr. Zomer received his B.A., magna cum laude, in economics from Middlebury College.
