Ron Zambrano joined Carlin & Buchsbaum in July 2008, bringing with him legal experience from a variety of legal areas, including immigration and family law. Always having an enthusiasm to work directly with people, Ron volunteered for Neighborhood Legal Services in Van Nuys, California in both their Domestic Violence and Worker's Rights Clinics before joining Carlin & Buchsbaum. He was admitted to the California State Bar in 2008.
Ron graduated from Whittier College, School of Law in 2007 where he made Dean's List. He was the recipient of the CALI Award for his paper titled "The Sanctity of Choice: Life With & Without the Womb, and the Right to Die." Also, he was Articles Editor for the Whittier Law Journal, where he wrote on the struggle between individual rights and state interests, titled "Freedom of Religion, Criminal Negligence, and the Right to Choose: Can the Law Punish a Religious Parent for Endangering a Child Without Punishing His Belief?"
Born in Quito, Ecuador, Ron is fluent in Spanish. He was raised and educated in Los Angeles, attending Saint Francis High School in La Canada, California. He attended the University of Southern California, where he majored in International Relations and was captain of Men's Club Soccer. Realizing a long time goal to go abroad, Ron studied in Europe, spending time in Italy, Germany, Sweden and the Czech Republic.
Coming from an extensive tennis family, Ron's first love is tennis, played tournaments as a junior and became a tennis instructor before deciding to go to law school. He and his father still participate as a doubles-team in USTA team tennis based out of Glendale, California.
