I grew up in Lake Charles, Louisiana and graduated from Lake Charles High School in 1977. Thereafter, I went to McMeese State University in Lake Charles studying Mass Communication and Psychology for two years. I then transferred to the University of Southwest Louisiana (ULL) in Lafayette, Louisiana. There, I graduated with a major in Public Relations and a minor in Psychology; graduating with honors (Cum Laude).
Two years later, I proceeded to New Orleans, Louisiana for law school. I was accepted into Loyola University in 1985 and graduated in 1988. My first job was in-house counsel with a small insurance company on the west bank of New Orleans, Louisiana. I practiced as in-house legal counsel for two years and then ventured to my solo practice. That’s my law practice ever since, working one on one with my clients.
I was in New Orleans for twenty years until Hurricane Katrina left me (and many people) “homeless”. Fortunately, I remain to have family in Lake Charles, Louisiana where I have been practicing law since Hurricane Katrina. It’s been and interesting transition. I’m resilient! It’s time to help clients from Southwest Louisiana with my 26 years of knowledge from New Orleans, Houma, Thibodeaux, and Jefferson Parish. I’m enjoying meeting everyone, the attorneys, judges, clerks and all the support the Lake Charles, Calcasieu legal system.
My clients work hard and I want to do the same. I hope to meet with you and learn more about your case. With kind regard!
