Ms. Wuori is a graduate of the University of San Diego School of Law. Prior to forming the Law Office of Sara L. Wuori, Ms. Wuori was a partner at Suzuki Wuori, LLP, focusing on estate planning and divorce matters, and was an associate attorney with Koeller, Nebeker, Carlson & Haluck, LLP, where she practiced general civil litigation with an emphasis on the representation of developers in construction defect matters. Ms. Wuori's areas of practice include wills and trusts, business law, and family law.
Before, as well as while attending law school, Ms. Wuori worked in the insurance industry where she gained experience in various aspects of marketing, underwriting and state regulatory filings. A native of the Pacific Northwest, Ms. Wuori received her bachelor’s degree in Finance-Law from Portland State University.
Ms. Wuori recently returned to San Diego from the Washington, D.C. area, where she volunteered her time with Carpenter’s Shelter, a non-profit organization that provides housing and other critical support for homeless individuals, by writing grants for vital funding. She also enjoys running and cooking, with a preference for the latter!
