Amanda J. Wong is an associate at Maiona & Ward, P. C. She practices exclusively in the field of immigration and nationality law. Her practice focuses on business immigration, including H-1B visa petitions, L-1 visa petitions, and PERM, as well as family-based matters. She also has experience in naturalization, asylum, deferred action for childhood arrivals, prosecutorial discretion, and removal defense. Attorney Wong is a graduate of New York University (cum laude) and Benjamin N. Cardozo School of Law, where she served as Executive Editor of the Cardozo Public Law, Policy & Ethics Journal. As a law student, she was selected by a faculty committee to participate in an immigration law externship at Catholic Charities in New York where she assisted clients with their cancellation of removal applications and family-based petitions. During law school, she also served as a judicial intern for The Honorable Judith Fabricant of Suffolk Superior Court in Boston, Massachusetts, and represented low-income and disadvantaged clients at administrative hearings as a Legal Services New York City intern.
