Eric J. Willoughby joined Henness & Haight as an attorney in December 2010. Mr. Willoughby was raised in Las Vegas, Nevada, and he is a graduate of Bishop Gorman High School. He attended the University of San Diego, where he received a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology. Following his undergraduate studies, he earned his Juris Doctorate from California Western School of Law and returned to Las Vegas to begin his law career.
Immediately after graduation from law school, Mr. Willoughby had the privilege to serve as a law clerk for the Honorable Joseph T. Bonaventure and the Honorable Elissa F. Cadish. Upon completion of his clerkship, Mr. Willoughby went on to practice insurance defense for a prominent Nevada law firm. During this time, he gained valuable insight as to how insurance companies work, and he now uses this experience in his representation of injured victims.
Mr. Willoughby’s practice includes all aspects of personal injury, including but not limited to, automobile collisions, premises liability, products liability, wrongful death, and medical malpractice cases. He has been licensed to practice law in Nevada since 2006, and is a member of the Nevada Justice Association.
In his spare time, Mr. Willoughby enjoys spending time with his wife and two children, as well as playing golf, hiking, and biking.
