Abbie P. Maliniak joined the Pasadena office of Curtis Green & Furman, LLP in 2006 as Senior Counsel. Ms. Maliniak's practice focuses on litigation matters, representing hospitals, health systems and other health care providers. She also handles qui tam litigation, fraud and abuse, physician contracting, medical staff bylaws and Medicare certification issues. Prior to joining the firm, Ms. Maliniak served as senior counsel with Fulbright & Jaworski, LLP and Akin, Gump, Strauss, Hauer & Feld, L.L.P.

Ms. Maliniak began her legal career working in the areas of health law and litigation, and subsequently served as a Deputy Attorney General in the New Jersey Division of Criminal Justice, Appellate Section. After returning to private practice, she again focused on health law and litigation in state and federal trial and appellate courts.
