Marc is a transactional real estate attorney and counselor whose practice focuses on helping single-family homeowners, multi-residential real estate investors, and real estate brokers, in the following areas:

Residential and Multi-Residential

• Acquisition and Disposition
• Leasing
• Negotiating Short-Sale Transactions (Since July 2008 Marc has negotiated ~160 residential short-sale transactions)
• Negotiating Loan Workouts 
• Drafting and Reviewing Purchase Contracts, Loan Documents, and Title & Escrow Documents
• Forming Limited Liability Companies, Drafting Operating Agreements and counseling members in their design

• Guiding Brokerage Companies on Regulatory and Compliance Issues

Marc also serves as the Designated Broker for North Gateway Realty, LLC; a boutique, real estate brokerage company in Phoenix.  Marc is licensed with the Arizona Department of Real Estate as an instructor; he uses this license to teach continuing education courses to real estate agents.  Marc’s brokerage and teaching experience compliments his real estate law practice and enables him to provide his clients with the highest level of professional legal representation.

Marc began his career in Arizona's real estate industry.  In 1999, Marc graduated magna cum laude from Arizona State University with a Bachelor of Science degree in business; he was a member of Dr. Jay Q. Butler's real estate program.  His employment experience is rooted in commercial and residential brokerage as well as multi-family property ownership and management.  Marc also earned the designation of Certified Apartment Manager through the Arizona Apartment Association so that he could better understand the challenges faced by his multi-family owning clients.  Marc returned to business school in 2007 to secure a Master of Business Administration from the University of Phoenix, and later, a Doctor of Jurisprudence from the University of Houston.
