Michael A. Madonna has an outstanding record in the trial of personal injury cases and spends much of his time in court for Trolman, Glaser & Lichtman.

A 1992 graduate of the St. Johns University Law School, Mr. Madonna was admitted to the State Bar of New Jersey in 1992 and the State Bar of New York in 1993. He has also been admitted to the Federal Bars in the Eastern and Southern districts of New York and the district court of New Jersey. "Trolman, Glaser & Lichtman wins $7.7 million for Staten Island girl burned in Housing Authority apartment"

On November 23, 1999, the Staten Island Advance published a front-page story about a $7.7 million jury verdict for a teenage girl who had been severely burned in an apartment owned by the New York City Housing Authority.
Kristal Pereira, who was represented by Michael Madonna of the New York personal injury law firm Trolman, Glaser & Lichtman, was a four-year-old when she sustained second- and third-degree burns on her head, ear, wrist, and shoulder after coming into contact with an exposed steam pipe in the family's bathroom.

The newspaper reported that the girl would use the money for reconstructive surgery for her damaged ear and other scars.

• A Queens County jury awarded $3,118,599.63 to a 23 year old undocumented construction worker who sustained a fractured ankle and herniated disc (both requiring surgery) after falling from a 10 foot ladder at a construction site.  It was established that the defendants were responsible for his accident by failing to provide him with any safety devices in violation of Labor Law section 240(1).
  
• A $4,370,000.00 jury verdict was obtained from a Bronx County jury for a 36 year old laborer and his wife who became disabled from manual labor as a result of a fractured elbow which required removal of a portion of the bone after falling from an unsecured ladder while installing a rolling gate garage door.  Here it was proven that the defendants were responsible for failing to provide the plaintiff with a safe place to work in violation of Labor Law section 240(1).

• A Manhattan jury awarded a 50 year old laborer $1,669,259.00 who sustained bilateral wrist fractures and a shoulder injury after falling 14 feet from an unsecured ladder and returned to work after 4 months.  It was proven that the defendants were responsible for violating Labor Law section 240(1).

• A 39 year old undocumented construction worker was awarded $1,830,000.00 from a Staten Island jury for a fractured femur requiring fixation with a metal rod after falling from an unsecured ladder.

• An award of $1,530,000.00 was obtained from a Bronx jury for the wife and children of an undocumented pedestrian who was crossing a street mid block when he was struck and killed by a school bus driver.  The jury found the defendants 100% responsible for the accident and wrongful death of the plaintiff despite the fact that he was intoxicated at the time of the accident.

• Settled a case for $950,000.00 for a 44 year old New York City building inspector who slipped and fell in a building he was about to inspect on a puddle of water in the lobby.  The plaintiff sustained injuries to his neck, back, shoulder and wrist.

• A settlement of $850,000.00 was reached during the middle of a trial for a 37 year old undocumented construction worker who fell from a scaffold fracturing his wrist, pelvis and injuring his back.

• Received a jury verdict of $800,000 after a 3-week trial in the case of a 69-year-old woman who was hit by a New York City Transit Authority (NYCTA) bus. The pedestrian was hit while crossing the street, and dragged almost 35 feet from the crosswalk. There were no witnesses to the accident and the bus operator was unaware that he was involved in an accident and left the scene. The jury found the bus driver and the NYCTA 100% responsible for the accident and the woman’s wrongful death.
