Kelly Lyttle has broad civil litigation experience ranging from commercial contract disputes to product liability claims, including multiplaintiff and class actions, representation of audit and special committees in internal investigations, and litigation matters related to financially distressed entities. Kelly has served public entities, private companies, and individuals in the technology, health care, aviation, banking, construction, and manufacturing industries. Representative clients include Computer Sciences Corporation, CVS Caremark, Frito-Lay, Kaiser, Patriarch Partners, Textron, and Wells Fargo.
Kelly's recent matters include representation of Verizon in a commercial contract dispute and Dell in a Securities and Exchange Commission investigation. She was a member of the briefing team that achieved the successful dismissal of the consolidated class action complaint in Dell's related shareholder litigation. Kelly has experience in federal and state litigation and in mediation. She successfully represented a defendant in a jury trial involving improper impleader, second-chaired a bench trial involving the division of corporate assets, and disposed of matters on summary judgment.
Kelly also serves pro bono clients through Legal Aid of North West Texas and volunteers with Reading and Radio Resource, a United Way agency that creates FM broadcasts and recordings of books for the blind. She presents topical litigation updates to paralegal associations and judges moot court and mock trial competitions for local law and high schools.
She is a member of the State Bar of Texas and the Dallas Bar Association and a former member of the Eldon B. Mahon Inn of Court (2003-2005).
